YNA October 15th

  • How did this week go for you?

I feel a little behind, especially because of how tired I am from my cold and from stress, but I have made progress.

  • What did you work on this week?

I worked on character designs and concepts for an art trade with Natalie.

  • What problems did you have?

None, necessarily.

  • What will you work on next week?

Working on the layout/plan for how my final capstone project will look.

  • Post visual proof of your work for this week.

None.

I will finish up the first passes of character development.

With the second one, I did a portrait study because I was struggling with the face. I’m going to stylize it later.

YNA 9/24

  • How did this week go for you?

A bit slowly, honestly.

  • What did you work on this week?

I researched comic creation for my capstone, both online and by flipping through the comics I own. I also took time to brainstorm ideas for my comic.

  • What problems did you have?

I didn’t have as much time as I would’ve liked. Ideally, I would’ve done artwork for concepting, but my other classes had a ton of testing.

  • What will you work on next week?

I’m going to knock out as much concepting as I can, so that I may be able to start writing the week after next.

  • Post Visual Proof of your Work for this Week!

I didn’t get any artwork done, but here is my notes from online research:

Research

I hope to follow these notes when I go to write my comic.
